The video had some bloke describing this vehicle as “elegant.” Yes, so elegant.
Hideous.
It uses, again, the M177 Mercedes AMG V8 biturbo for power. For this and other Aston models that source this engine... Really, you should just buy a better-looki ng, probably cheaper, actual Mercedes .
Oh well, time marches on. Will Aston go under in the 2020s?

The Urus is basically a nicer looking Cayenne Turbo, yet look how it’s doing.
This thing will be to Aston what the Urus is to Lamborghini. Is it their coolest model? No. Is it better than what it’s based on? Not really. Will it help the company keep producing cool cars we all love on the side? Absolutely.
And yes, I do like the DBX a lot.

Something like a lightweight Juke with a lotus face would be really interesting.
It will surely have a turbo 4 and most likely electrification of some sort.(for more weight and complexity). I think it will be lightest in class, but still too much.

Since it will cost me more than the house in which we currently live and will therefore never own...plus I can't differentiate it from many other similar SUV things ...I am completely indifferent to it.

With a low belt line and barely passes safety regulations on implementing air bags etc. that make everything else so awful. Sadly it won’t be deemed important for US consumers and never get imported during its short lifespan.

About 10 years ago, it was the super sedans.
Panamera,Rapide and with Estoque just around the corner. But the rich didn’t take to them as much as they’ve taken to SUVs.
I guess if I had a couple of wishes to make with a Genie, I’d go back to the 2000s and buy out every single fast sedan to bend the course of Automotive history.
